About Lower Valley Live

Lower Valley Live (formerly The Lower Valley Community Concert Association) has been bringing live entertainment to South Central Washington since 1947: that’s over 200 performances in 65 seasons.  National and international musicians have performed in a wide variety of genres including classical, country, folk, jazz, and Broadway.  Comedy and gymnastics have also been popular during the series, which usually included five events from fall through spring.   Many of the performers have done extra performances or workshops for students.  Volunteers run the association, keeping the ticket prices reasonable.  This season we have some exciting new venues. We will continue to use the renovated Sunnyside High School Auditorium, but we will have one performance at the historic Princess Theatre in Prosser and another will be an open air concert at the Grandview Country Park in the spring. Reciprocal agreements with other community concert associations have allowed season ticket holders to attend concerts in other communities for no cost.  The association has done an excellent job bringing cultural events to the Yakima Valley.
